Major Service Intervals:
Most vehicles require major services every 30,000 miles. Generically, those services include:
Many vehicles’ today are equipped with Timing Belts that require replacement every 60,000 miles in order to prevent major engine damage. Have us check your vehicle for proper service intervals.
Oil Service:
It is recommended that your vehicle's oil & filter be replaced every 3,000 - 5,000 miles or 6 months. (whichever occurs 1st) See your owners manual and ask us for a recommendation.
Did you know that our Oil & Filter - Inspection service is more concise than many quick lube centers? Some "Quicky Lube" service centers have policies where they are not allowed to inspect certain items. For instance, some are restricted from checking your brake fluid or limit it to a visual inspection if the reservoir is transparent. Brake fluid is hygroscopic and should be checked for proper moisture content with the proper instruments. If the incorrect fluid (or moisture) is introduced into your hydraulic brake system, major system failures can occur.
Question, when was the last time you checked to see if all of your lights were operational? This is just one of the many additional safety items usually not checked and or repaired at quick lube centers!
